Pine Rock Construction and Remodeling is a Flagstaff-based remodeling contractor. Brent Salazar owns and runs it, and he's kept it that way deliberately.
Brent started Pine Rock in March 2022, based in Flagstaff with just as much work happening in Sedona. He handles every project personally, from the first walkthrough to the final invoice, and his client base has grown almost entirely through word of mouth in both cities.
He runs Pine Rock as a smaller operation on purpose. Sales, project management, and invoicing are all handled directly instead of layering on the overhead a bigger firm carries. That keeps the business lean, and it means the person who walked your property is the same person running your job site and sending your final invoice.
The focus is full home remodels and additions, that's where Pine Rock does its best work, though the crew also handles kitchens, baths, decks, siding, windows, and ground-up custom home construction across Flagstaff, Sedona, Parks, Munds Park, and Bellemont.
Sales, the job site, and invoicing are all handled directly. You're not passed between departments.
A smaller operation means less markup than a bigger firm carries, though not the cheapest bid you'll get.
Based in Flagstaff since 2022, with a client base built mostly on word of mouth in both cities.
That's the focus and where the crew does its best work, alongside kitchens, baths, and custom builds.
Working with Brent was an amazing experience. I have been a realtor for over 25 years: I have had clients miserable ( including myself) with overpromise and underdeliver strategies. I dreaded remodeling my second home in Flagstaff based on all I have ever witnessed. Working with Brent and Pine Rock Construction was the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. He is honest, reliable, fair with his estimates, and did an outstanding job for us. And here is the kicker: he finished when he said he would finish... Look no further: Pine Rock Construction and Brent Salazar are 10 stars - but Google only let me give him 5 Stars... What are you waiting for???
Brent did a major remodel on the Flagstaff house for me. His price was reasonable & fair, I can't say that for the competing bids...
He is thorough, organized, meticulous, kind, gracious, humble and funny but also serious about getting the job completed to your expectations.
I have recommended Brent to several other people who have hired him for their jobs and they are grateful, to me... LOL, its all Brent. I just am fortunate to know him.
This is my first ever review! But I want to share my experience with Brent Salazar, Pine Rock Construction: Brent is a man of his word! He is creative, a problem solver, he says what he can do and does it, and does it right, he is timely, responsive, and HONEST. Brent constructed a new deck for us and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend him without reservation. Prior to engaging Brent, we worked with two other contractors on two different projects, both underperformed, had one excuse after the other, and failed to complete the projects (Brent actually completed one of those projects). Brent, unfortunately, got the brunt of my initial skepticism! But he quickly proved that he is an honest, hardworking, and talented contractor. Friends jokingly suggested I not post this because it will lead to more referrals for Brent which makes him less available, and I have another project that I want Brent to work on, but he deserves this recommendation. Brent Salazar, Pine Rock Construction, is a rare find! Brent, thank you for your honesty, creativity, and hard work, you are very much appreciated.
Tell us what you're thinking and we'll set up a time to walk the space.
